SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The Augustana women's basketball team returns to the Sanford Pentagon to host Upper Iowa for the weekend. Friday's game is slated for 7 p.m. while Saturday's tipoff is at 3 p.m.

About the Vikings
The Vikings are returning to the Sanford Pentagon after a short week of action, only playing Friday night's contest at Winona State. In that, senior Izzy Van Veldhuizen hit a game-tying shot at the end of the fourth quarter that was enough to send the game to overtime. The Vikings went on to win 81-79.
The win elevated Augustana to 4-3 on the season and 3-2 in the loop.
Sophomore Lauren Sees has taken the lead for the Vikings in points per game, scoring 15.3 per game and Duffy leads the team in rebounds with 6.6 per contest.
About the Peacocks
The Peacocks are 1-7 overall and 0-6 in NSIC play, the Peacocks are led by second year head coach Nate Oakland.
Last week, the Peacocks had two close affairs with Wayne State, losing 84-79 on Friday night and 78-70 Saturday night.
On Saturday night, two Peacocks scored more than 10 points. Leading the charge was freshman Lydia Haack who had a big night scoring 29 points and garnering six assists and four rebounds. Her career-high came against St. Cloud State scoring 30 points in the opening game of the season on Jan. 2.
Haack leads the Peacocks in scoring at 17.3 per contest and Jessica Musgrave leads the team in rebounding with 9.5 per game.
