Viking Women’s Basketball Games against Minnesota State Pushed to Saturday & Sunday

Contests will be played inside the Sanford Pentagon

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Due to COVID-19 protocols within the Minnesota State program, the Augustana women’s basketball games scheduled for Friday and Saturday will now be played Saturday and Sunday. Saturday’s contest is slated for 8 p.m. while Sunday’s tip-off will be at 4 p.m. Both games will be played inside the Sanford Pentagon.


Tickets will go on sale to the public Friday at 10 a.m. and be available online at,, by phone and in person at the Sanford Pentagon box office. The Pentagon box office is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and one hour prior to tipoff of games. A-Club members, season ticket holders and corporate partners, as well as Augustana students and faculty & staff should check their emails for additional ticket information.


Tickets are priced at $10/adult and $5/youth, with children under three years old admitted free as a "lap" seat. All ticketing is in podded seating in groups of 2-4, and all seating is reserved (there are no general admission tickets). Fans will be asked to purchase a pod of tickets corresponding to the size of their group. Groups larger than four will break up into multiple pods and can purchase seats near each other, assuming they are purchased at the same time. Unavailable seats are covered and fans must sit in the seats corresponding to their tickets. A limited number of single-game and season-long suites are also available. The contests will be the first of the season for Augustana inside the Sanford Pentagon, the Vikings’ homecourt for the second-straight season. Attendance will be limited to a capacity of approximately 20% for this weekend's games.


All fans are required to wear face coverings at all times, except when actively eating or drinking. Masks are required across all NSIC contests this season and help support a safe environment for our student-athletes, staff and community. Disposable masks will be available at the entrance and fans not wearing face coverings appropriately will be asked to leave the facility.


Fans should also be aware that access to the seating section is only from the second level of the Sanford Pentagon. Fans will use the main entrance (only) and after scanning their ticket, will proceed to the second floor via the stairwells or elevator. Access to floor level at Heritage Court will be heavily restricted to student-athletes, coaches and working staff in accordance with NCAA SSI guidelines. All fans will enter the seating areas from the top of their respective seating section.


The Viking men’s basketball contests at Minnesota State remain unchanged and will be played Friday at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. in Mankato.
