SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - More than 30 top high school basketball players from the Midwest will participate in the Sanford Pentagon 2017 Prospects Camp Aug. 4-5 at the Sanford Pentagon.
The list of top prospects includes members of the Sanford Pentagon 17U National team (Cole Bergan, Dillon Barrow and Gus Reede) and several South Dakota All-State selections (Reede, Aaron Fiegen, Koln Oppold and Noah Freidel).
Professional basketball players Kirk Hinrich and Greg Stiemsma will join POWER Basketball Academy Director Allan Bertram in conducting comprehensive workouts, drills for specific positions and full-court games.
“This is a great opportunity for the athletes who attend this camp to get in two days of highly competitive work against their peers and receive instruction from those who played basketball at the highest level,” said Bertram. “Our goal is to not only improve their skills on the court, but also introduce them to pre- and post-game routines that will help take their performance to the next level.”
Athletes will receive expert education and analysis from the Sanford Sports Science Institute team, including SCORE performance testing, hydration and sweat loss information as well as nutrition instruction.
