SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - It will be a rematch between South Dakota State and Fort Wayne when The Summit League volleyball opponents meet Oct. 30 at 1 p.m. at the Sanford Pentagon for the “Dig Pink” match. The match aims to raise awareness of breast cancer.
The Jackrabbits defeated the Mastodons in three sets last year with the match marking the first time Division I volleyball has been played in the Sanford Pentagon.
As part of the “Dig Pink” theme, South Dakota State will wear special pink Under Armour jerseys which will be auctioned off to benefit the Edith Sanford Breast Center, an initiative of Sanford Health focused on breast cancer research and care. Fans in attendance will also receive a free pink rally towel.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for youth and are available at the Pentagon the day of the match.
