Mitchell Fink put up 34 points with 11 rebounds and six assists as Oregon Tech knocked off defending national champion Indiana Wesleyan 107-93. That was the biggest development in the NAIA Division II men's basketball quarterfinals Saturday.
The Wildcats had been 7-0 in games at the Sanford Pentagon, including winning a national championship in 2018.
The Owls will face Cascade Collegiate Conference foe College of Idaho in the semifinals. The Coyotes edged Morningside 62-59 to reach the Round of 4 for the second year in a row.
In the nightcap, Marian topped Briar Cliff by jumping out to a big lead in the first half.
The semifinals will be held Monday on Heritage Court. Tickets for the final two rounds are available via Ticketmaster.com.
